About Project

Our app focuses on designing a user-centric food delivery app catering to 60 diverse restaurants across Manhattan, NYC, including neighborhoods like Chelsea, East Village, Financial District, Flatiron, Greenwich Village, Lower East Side, SoHo, Union Square, West Village, Upper East Side, and Times Square. The goal is to create an intuitive, efficient, and engaging app that enhances the food ordering and delivery experience for both users and restaurants.

Problem Statement

The need for this app arises due to several challenges faced by customers and restaurants in these busy Manhattan neighborhoods. These problems include:

  • Users often struggle to find and choose their preferred options easily.
  • A dense population increases the demand for food delivery services, causing delays.
  • Current food delivery apps often lack personalized recommendations, making it hard for users to find new dining experiences that match their tastes.
  • Poor communication between customers, delivery personnel, and restaurants leads to misunderstandings and inconsistent service.

Problem Solution

We chose the following solution to these problems:

  • Adding advanced search and filter options can help users find their desired cuisines, dietary preferences, and restaurant types.
  • Personalized recommendations based on user preferences, order history and current trends.
  • Provide a responsive app that is user-friendly.
  • Adding Chat and call features to enable clear communication between customers, delivery personnel, and restaurants to resolve issues quickly.
